Rockland County Executive Ed Day will announce the final push of an aggressive push to collect $2.9 million in back taxes. The funds that the county was focused on collecting were delinquent taxes on non-residential properties. The announcement will be made today at 3 pm at 137 North Main Street in Spring Valley. In the event there of inclement weather at 3 pm, the event will be moved to the media room on 11 New Hempstead Road in New City.
