Former New York Giants player, Cole Farrand made headlines this week after he rescued a man from a house fire in Rockaway. Farrand woke up early Monday morning to the find his Green Pond Lake community neighbor’s up in flames. He then got a ladder from his home and was able to save the man from the roof of his house. The home, as well as three vehicles, were all destroyed by the fire; however no one was injured in the blaze.
