The new gas tax of .23 cents per gallon went into effect at 12:01 AM in New Jersey. Yesterday the average price of gas was $2.04 today you are looking at approximately $2.27. Costco in Nanuet near Clarkstown Road was selling Top-Tier gas at about $2.13 eight hours ago. Maybe its time to come home again.
