Federal Aviation officials announced yesterday that beginning February 27 a scheduled reconstruction of a runway at John F. Kennedy International Airport will cause some 500 flights to be rerouted over several Westchester towns for a period of 6-months. The FAA did an environmental review determining there would be little to no noise impact on neighborhoods where planes are scheduled to fly. For more information visit: FAA.gov
