Two Sentenced in Michael Nolan Killing

Sentencing for two of the convicted killers of 23-year-old Michael Nolan happened yesterday in Westchester County Court. Nolan was an Oakland A’s baseball prospect who was shot outside a Burger King on Central Park Avenue in September 2015 by four men. Judge Barry Warhit handed the pre-arranged prison terms of eleven years for Tejmitra Singh and nine years for Darren Dawson. The sentencing for shooter Nashuan Hunter is scheduled for November 16 and Garth O’Neill Cole is scheduled December 1. In a courtroom packed with Nolan’s friends and family his mother Donna Nolan and his brother Jimmy Nolan gave emotional testimony at the sentencing. Donna Nolan said, “They took my son, but they can’t take my memories. I wish nothing by misery for them.”
