Two Men Arrested in Explosion of Bronx “Marijuana Grow” House

There is a developing story in the Tuesday morning explosion that killed 17-year veteran of the Fire Department of New York, Battalion Chief Michael Fahy. The “person of interest” originally taken in for questioning is Julio Salcedo, who is suspected of being the tenant of the “marijuana grow” house. Salcedo is being held on a “fugitive from justice” warrant in the Bergen County Jail in Hackensack, according to The Pearl River Patch. No information as to when he will be returned to New York and if there will be a hearing. Then Wednesday evening, a spokeswoman for the NYPD announced that a second suspect, Garivaldi Castillo has been arrested and charged with two counts of criminal possession of marijuana. Neither man is presently being charged with connection or responsibility for the blast or Fahy’s death.
