This morning, authorities charged 25 people and confiscated more than 13 million dollars’ worth of heroin. Officials have yet to release all the identities of those involved, however, of the 25 people charged, three of them were Westchester residents. Mandatory water restrictions have officially been lifted for Rockland County as cooler temperatures move into the area. The water restrictions, which were mostly concerned with outdoor water use, were put into effect in July. However, County officials have stated that they will continue to monitor rainfall and water resource levels. (Source: LoHud)

Police and village detectives in the Bronxville area are investigating a string of home break-ins that were reported on Wednesday. Authorities have stated that break-ins or attempted break-ins were also reported in Harrison, North Castle, and White Plains. Two men driving a long black sedan were seen at multiple break-ins. In Major League Baseball news, The New York Mets won on a walk-off homerun curtesy of Asdrubal Cabrera and beat The Philadelphia Phillies 9-8 in 11 innings. The New York Yankees were shut out by the Tampa Bay Rays 2-0. The Mets and Yankees are both scheduled to play at 7:10 tonight.
