Sunday morning at approximately 1:50 a.m. on Route 9 south 20-year-old Brandon Jackson’s vehicle hit a guardrail. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Jackson, a resident of Queens, was a West Point cadet and starting defensive back on the Army West Point football team. The accident is under investigation.
