Pilgrim Pipelines Meeting September 22nd

Scenic Hudson, RiverKeeper, and partners will be presenting an evening about the threat posed to communities by the Pilgrim Pipelines Thursday September 22 at 6:30 p.m. at Rockland Community College. The two proposed pipelines would carry up to 400,000 gallons of petroleum a day between Linden, NJ, and Albany—would cut through Rockland and Orange counties, bisecting neighborhoods, parks and open space, and prime drinking water sources. After the presentation there will be a “Take Action” session—to share steps you can take to halt this dangerous project that promotes fossil fuel development.  For more information visit: RiverKeeper.org
