Boulders’ fan favorite, Stephen Cardullo became the first former Rockland player to be called up to a major league team and record a base hit. Cardullo was called up to the Colorado Rockies three days ago and smacked a single to left field last night in a pinch hitting assignment; it’s only fitting that a Boulder would be called up to play for the Rockies. The Boulders were off last night but look to continue their winning ways against the Ottawa Champions at Palisades Credit Union Park tonight; game time is scheduled for 7:00 pm
