In Croton-on-Hudson, authorities have confiscated over 65 pounds of heroin from a tractor-trailer that was parked in front of a house on Sassi Drive. Fernando Quiles and Jorge Ayala were arrested at the house and charged with possession of a controlled substance, conspiracy, and use of drug paraphernalia. Drug Enforcement Agents have stated that the 65 pounds of heroin has an estimated wholesale value of 2.3 million dollars. (LoHud)

Patterson, New Jersey continues to see rough times after the city has seen its 10th shooting of the month. Police say a 22-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot multiple times, early Thursday morning near a park in the 1st Ward. Patterson authorities are asking anyone with information on the incident to call 973-321-1342. (NorthJersey)

Rockland County officials are saying that recent rainfall and water conservation efforts have resulted in a downgrade of the mandatory water restrictions. Rockland is now in a Stage 1 water emergency, which is down from the previous Stage 2 water emergency. The county has been under water restrictions since July 21st. (LoHud)

The Rockland Boulders beat the Ottawa Champions 8-6 last night. Brett Palanski earned the win for Rockland, while Luis Munoz took the loss for Ottawa. The Boulders head over to Sussex County tonight to face the Miners; game time is scheduled for 7:05 pm.
