Governor Cuomo has directed the State Police to ramp up enforcement efforts against drunk and distracted driving early for the Labor Day Weekend. Beginning August 18 through September 5 The Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over Campaign begins statewide and aims to reduce deaths and injuries caused by impaired drivers. WRCR reminds you to select a designated driver before you head out to enjoy your holiday weekend. Drunk driving kills 10,000 people nationwide each year and can be prevented with a little planning.
