Yonkers officials have announced that downtown Yonkers and surrounding neighborhoods are installing 33 solar-powered pay stations. Motorists will also be able to use the smartphone APP “Parkmobile.” Deputy Mayor Susan Gerry said that the new system will make it easier for drivers to access parking and it will “make operations of our very large parking system more streamlined and efficient.”
