August Indian-American Heritage Month

August is Indian-American Heritage month in New York State and to celebrate, Rockland County Legislator Aney Paul has invited a group of dancers to perform a selection of classical Indian dances prior to the start of the August 2^nd board meeting. There will also be a Rockland county India Day parade on August 20^th where Paul will read a Proclamation noting the celebration of Indian-American Heritage month. In a statement Paul said, “I am so proud to share part of my heritage with the larger community.”
