On Saturday, in Stony Point the body of 25-year-old, Nicholas Cohen was recovered from Cedar Creek. The death does not appear to be suspicious. The Rockland County Medical Examiner’s Office is conducting an examination to determine the cause of death. Wayne Hose Fire Department members removed the body from the water. Stony Point Police, State Police, the Rockland Sheriff’s Office BCI, and Rockland Paramedics assisted them.
