Ballpark Renamed Palisades Credit Union Park

The Rockland Boulders’ 2016 baseball season begins in May but they won’t be playing at Provident Bank Park because the stadium is getting a new name. The stadium located off Pomona Road will now be named Palisades Credit Union Park. In 2011, Provident Bank won the naming rights for $2.75M over 10 ten years with the town of Ramapo receiving over $137K thousand dollars annually. In 2013, Provident Bank acquired Sterling Bank and now operates under that name. Sterling plans to keep a presence at the park but is releasing its naming rights. The Boulders’ are scheduled to open May 14th with an exhibition game for NYPD’s Finest starting at 6:30pm to raise money for the NYPD Benevolent Association followed by a display of fireworks. May 19th the Boulders host the Sussex County Miners.
