MLK Career Fair Tomorrow, March 30th

ALBANY –The Dr. Martin Luther King Career Fair, sponsored by the New York State Department of Labor in collaboration with the Office of General Services, is being held tomorrow in Albany. It features more than 170-businesses from 19 industry sectors including: Manufacturing, Finance and Insurance, Utilities and Construction, Professional, Scientific, and Technical and Healthcare and Social Assistance. On-site interviews with ten participating businesses will be available throughout the day. There will also be workshops beginning at 10am. Acting State Labor Commissioner Roberta Reardon stated, “The interest from businesses eager to participate in this event continues to grow each year” and she continued, “The large number of local businesses attending this event is a positive sign that our local economy continues to improve and that businesses know this event is the place to be to find quality talent.” The MLK Career Fair being held tomorrow, March 30th, in the Empire State Plaza Convention Center from 11am – 3pm is free for job seekers and businesses.
