Students Stabbed During Fight

Officials were forced to lockdown Ramapo High School on Friday after police received reports that two teens were stabbed during a fight. Around 1:00 PM, first responders arrived at the school and transported two boys, aged 17 and 18, to Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern for non-life threatening injuries, one for a stab wound to the back and the other for a slash wound. They were later released, and police are continuing to investigate the cause of the fight and how the students may have brought the weapons into the school. The school was shut down until 2:00 PM, students not in a classroom at the time were held in the auditorium until the scene was cleared and school was dismissed.
