Two Men Severely Injured In Explosion In Orange County

Emergency officials responded to Oprandy’s Fire and Safety in Orange County this morning when a fire extinguisher explosion seriously injured two people. According to reports, Frank Buono and Christopher Foust were transported via helicopter to Westchester Medical Center for medical treatment. Wallkill Town Supervisor Daniel Depew credits first responders with quick thinking to stop bleeding on the two men by using the tourniquet method. The U.S. Labor Department’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration are on the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the fire extinguisher explosion.
