Officers from the Hackensack Police Department and Bergen County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle parked at the Burger King on Hackensack Avenue this morning to find a 78 year-old woman dead. Police Director Michael Mordaga explains that officers discovered the body at around 8:30 a.m. this morning and that the woman died sometime between Friday and today. Allegedly, she spoke with workers at the fast food chain on Friday, claiming she was afraid to drive as the weather began to worsen. Officials have not yet determined a cause of death.
