Three Killed in Halloween Crash; Driver’s Medical Conditions Being Investigated

Three people were killed on Saturday when a car crashed into a group of trick-or-treaters out on Halloween. According to police, the incident occurred in Morris Park in the Bronx Saturday night and investigators are now looking into whether or not a medical condition, possibly a seizure, caused the 52-year old driver of a Dodge Charger to hit another vehicle and then jump the curb hitting a group of people. 10-year old Nyanna Aquil and her 65-year old grandfather Louis Perez, were both killed as well as 24-year old Kristian Leka. The driver, a 3-year old girl, 9-year old girl, and 21-year old woman were all taken to Jacobi Medical Center for treatment to varying injuries. The driver has not been charged as of yet.
