Man Rescued from Hudson River

According to police, a Westchester man was rescued from the Hudson River on Tuesday evening. The unnamed man was out on the river, when his boat capsized near Briarcliff Manor around 5:00 PM, leaving him in the water. The man had a life-vest and was able to float until he was seen by the passing Havesrtraw-Ossining ferry and taken aboard. The ferry dropped him on the Ossining side of the river where he was transported to Phelps Memorial Hospital. His condition was not reported, but he appeared to be uninjured, and investigations began into what caused his boat to capsize.
