Rockland Woman Convicted for Assaulting Man

A woman was seen before a Rockland County jury last week, for charges against her in a 2014 attack on a man. According to the District Attorney’s office 41-year old Janice White of Nyack was found guilty of felony charges of criminal possession of a weapon and first-degree assault after she slashed a 60-year old Rockland man’s face with a razor in November 2014, leading to his hospitalization and surgery to treat the wound. White will remain in Rockland County Jail until her sentencing on January 5 where she could receive up to 25 years in prison.
