Air Quality Health Advisory For Rockland County

An air quality health advisory is in effect for today with higher levels of ozone as the pollutant of concern. The release by Rockland County Executive Ed Day and County Health Commissioner Dr. Patricia Schnabel Ruppert, recommends limiting strenuous activity in the afternoon hours when the ozone levels are highest. If you are experiencing symptoms such as irritation to the eyes, nose, and throat, shortness of breath, chest pain, or wheezing, seek medical attention immediately.
