The Clarkstown Police Department released a report of a luring incident from last Thursday, September 10, in which two teenage boys were approached by an unknown male in New City. The mother of one of the boy’s contacted the Police Department yesterday, explaining that the two 14 year-old’s were approached on Goebel Road near Scher Court, by a white male in his 20’s with short hair and a beard, driving a red car with an Army sticker on the rear bumper. He spoke with them, asking if they would like a ride home and showed them some type of badge. Officials are cautioning parents to inform their children to report any incidents with strangers. If anyone has any information, they are encouraged to contact the Clarkstown Detective’s Bureau at (845) 639-5840.
