Late Night Train Ending This Weekend

Trains in Rockland County are going to be ending their late night trips very soon. According to officials the 12:45 AM Pascack Valley Line train out of Hoboken will be terminating services on Sunday, making the final train to Rockland County the 11:13 PM, which is replacing the 10:42 in an attempt to closet the time gap for late night commuters. New Jersey Transit got rid of the train due to budget constraints, stating that only forty riders utilize the time, about half of them are from Rockland County. Though transportation authorities have stated that travelers can take the 12:15 AM bus out of the Port Authority in Manhattan, both County Executive Ed Day and New York State Senator Charles Schumer held a press conference calling for a better solution for commuters that need a later service, even proposing a shuttle bus from New Jersey to Rockland.
