Westchester Police Make Arrests After Drug Investigation

Westchester County Police arrested a large group of people on Wednesday after a lengthy investigation into drug sales and gang activity. According to officials thirty-two people were charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance for their parts in an alleged drug organization operating in Mount Vernon. The investigation was conducted over ten months by both County Police and the Mount Vernon Police Department, as well as with assistance from the FBI. Those involved were found with prescription pills, heroin, and cocaine, and are accused of selling out of a local meat market on Fourth Avenue.
