Warwick Still Under Boil Water Advisory

A boil water advisory is still in effect for an Orange County Village, where residents have had undrinkable water since Sunday. On Monday even St. Anthony’s Hospital in the village of Warwick was affected, they were forced to cancel surgeries for the day. Village and water officials stated on Tuesday evening that the advisory will be lifted as soon as the Health Department’s testing shows the water is free of contaminants, the earliest most likely being Thursday. In the meantime, residents are either forced to boil their water to drink, wash dishes, and bathe, or can go to Memorial Park where a water tanker has been set up for people to fill coolers with clean drinking water.
