Westchester Inmates found Unresponsive

According to Valhalla Police several inmates at the Westchester County Jail were taken to the hospital on Sunday afternoon after being found unresponsive. Police stated that several inmates from the same cell block are in stable condition after they were discovered in their cells from what officials believe was a drug overdose. Four of the men were taken to Westchester Medical and the other two to White Plains Hospital in critical condition, though they are now stable under guarded protection. Many residents are concerned that the inmates allegedly obtained a form of synthetic marijuana known as “K2”, and have raised questions about prisoners access while behind bars.
