Two Orange County Teens Killed in Warwick Crash

According to police two teens were killed in an accident in Orange County at 10:20 AM on Tuesday, where they were passengers in a student driver vehicle. Police stated that four Goshen High School students and their driving school instructor were traveling along Blooms Corners Road in Warwick, when they made a left onto County Road 1 at an intersection with a stop sign and blinking traffic light. The Chevy SUV, being driven by one of the students with the instructor in the passenger seat, was struck by a tractor trailer driving West along County Road 1. Incoming Senior Paul Vandoran and Junior Antonio Baglivo were both pronounced dead at the scene of the dangerous intersection. Lucas O’Connor, a Junior, and Claudia Krebs, a Senior, were both taken to Westchester Medical Center where they are in serious condition. The 60-year old instructor also suffered injuries and the driver of the tractor trailer was taken to the hospital for what were described as not-serious injuries. Residents have expressed grief and outrage following the accident, many stating they have been fighting for a traffic light in that spot for some years.
