Boulders Head To Canada After Losing To Jackals

The Boulders go into their Canadian road trip having lost in Wednesday night’s game against the Jersey Jackals with a 6-3 final score. The Jackals struck first with a 2-0 lead in the 3rd inning, however the Boulders responded the next two innings taking over 3-2 in a show of what could come. However, the Jackals tacked on runs in the 7th, 8th, and 9th from which the Boulders offense couldn’t respond. Rockland’s Richard Salazar left the game in the 6th with a no-decision after giving up just three runs on six hits and striking out five. The Jackals are now just 1.5 games behind the first-place Boulders before they begin a series on the road starting with the Quebec Capitals.
