Suffern Police Fundraiser This Weekend

This weekend Police Officers in Suffern will be selling t-shirts, honoring officers killed in the line of duty. The shirts will have the Suffern police badge on them, along with the logos of organizations the funds will support. The words “Heroes Get Remembered But Legends Never Die” will also written across. The shirts will be sold this weekend, on Friday Night from 5 pm until 10 pm at the hokey rink on Yorkshire drive. Then again on Saturday morning from 9:30 am-12:30 pm, this time the shirts will be sold outside the Police Department on Washington Avenue. Shirts will be priced from 15 to 20 dollars. Proceeds raised will go to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund and Concerns of Police Survivors Fund. This is not the first time in recent months that the department has shown support for their fellow officers, you may remember back in December the department held a similar fundraiser to show support to the families of fallen NYPD officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos.
