Rockland Nurse Arrested For Allegedly Stealing Drugs

A licensed nurse working at the Robert Yeager Health Center in Pomona was arrested for possessing drugs and driving with a suspended license. According to Rockland County Sheriff Louis Falco 44-year old Dawn Marie Kelly of Fort Montgomery, NY was pulled over by a Sheriff’s Deputy on Monday and was found to be in possession of prescription drugs that police believe she stole from the health center, as well as business records “documenting the dissemination of medication to patients.” Falco stated that police are investigating and believe that Kelly stole the documents to cover the theft. Kelly was arrested on felony charge of fourth-degree grand larceny, and misdemeanor counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of controlled substance, petty larceny, and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. She has resigned from her position and will appear in Ramapo Town Court on June 27.
