Haverstraw Man Arrested for Sex Trafficking of a Minor

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in New Jersey a Haverstraw man was one of four people to be indicted on charges of conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking of a minor, sex trafficking of children, and conspiracy to transport minors to engage in prostitution. 24- year old Wilbur Senat was indicted by a grand jury on Thursday after he was arrested in July 2013 for forcing a 15- year old girl that he met in 2011 to solicit sex at a Nyack motel and taking her to Philadelphia to introduce her to the other men facing charges. According to the charges Senat forced the girl into traveling with him by violently threatening her family. All four men involved were arrested after a failed attempt at blackmailing men with photographs of sexual encounters with the underage girl and are in custody until arraignment.
