Upstate NY Casinos Angling for Sports Betting by Next Year

Sports gambling was legalized by the Supreme Court last year and New Jersey quickly got in on the action. New York is taking its time, though it may be legal come next year. Madison Square Garden and Empire City in Yonkers are also looking to get in on the action. New Jersey has both app and in-person sports betting, but 80 percent of the Garden State’s legal sports betting is reportedly done using an app or online.
