Nyack College to Leave Facility for NYC Next Fall

Nyack College and Alliance Theological Seminary is moving its entire operation out of Rockland County to its campus in lower Manhattan effective next fall. Students will be able to attend a series of town hall meetings over the next few days to learn more about the move and how it’ll affect them. Founded in 1882, Nyack College has a total undergraduate enrollment of about 14-hundred students, occupies about 125 acres in Upper Nyack and employs about 220 people. Vice President for College Relations Jeff Quinn says they’re working with real estate professionals regarding options for the Rockland property and no final decisions have been made yet.
