Hi Tor List of Adoptable Pets 7/12/18

This girl can work a crowd, for sure. Remy is almost two years old and available for adoption. This gorgeous brindle baby is active and friendly. Her favorite thing to do at the shelter is visit adoption events to meet and greet any human who will be her new friend! She’s friendly around new people. Everyone who handles her describes her as sweet. Remy is working on her basic commands. She knows sit and is beginning to learn down and stay. She would prefer to be the only fur kid and live in the company of adult sized people. For further information on Remy, please contact Hi Tor at 845-354-7900.

Becky is a five-year-old Chihuahua mix who was surrendered by her owners. She is very new so we are still getting to know her but, so far Becky is doing great. We think Becky would be a good fit with older children or adults. She loves attention and will play a funny circle game with her treats to keep people near.

Leah is a 3-year-old female pit bull mix who was surrendered to the shelter because her owner didn’t have the time for her. Leah would do well in an active home as she loves to run around and play, so she would do well with kids about 10 and older who can keep up with her. A fenced in yard would be a plus also. Leah loves people and could always use on-going obedience training. Leah should also be the only pet in the house. Come meet this bundle of fun!

Angel is a 5 year old domestic short hair cat. She has been at the shelter since Oct 2015 and is the longest resident cat at the shelter. Angel came to us after being found as a stray. She is low energy and an affectionate girl. Angel would do best in a quiet, low-traffic home with mature children and adults. She has not shown an interest in other cats but might do okay living with other calm cats like herself. She is on a sensitive food diet so her new family would need to continue her diet. Don’t you think three years is too long to be without a home??

Flopsy is a 10-month-old neutered male bunny and he is a showstopper! Flopsy is a lop mix, fluffy, grey and white rabbit who has perfected litter training, loves people and animals. He would be a great pet for a home with gentle children.

Thelma is a one year old female bunny who was rescued from a horrible life in a broken down hutch. She had a litter of five day old babies when she was brought in. 30 days later to our surprise, Thelma gave birth to 8 more babies. Within two days all 8 of those babies sadly died. It is time for Thelma to find a loving home where she will get all the love she deserves.
