In some cases in Clarkstown, police say residents got a call from a man claiming to be from O&R, asking them to purchase a “Green Dot Card” so they can pay $3,000.00 on their O&R account. The victims were instructed to call back a phony “888” number with the payment information. Clarkstown Police Detectives are investigating the incidents.
