Hi Tor List of Adoptable Pets 6/28/18

Belle’s name appropriately reflects her quiet beauty. Belle is a two to three-year-old terrier mix. Belle is quite gentle with her people once she gets to know you. She is a bit scared and shy at first but, when she gets comfortable gives endless affection. Give this little beauty a chance. To get to know more about Belle, please visit Hi Tor Animal Care Center.

Dakota is about four-and-a-half years old terrier mix who was surrendered by her owner when she no longer could take care of her. She is quite shy and learning how to get used to shelter life, which is not an easy task for this sweet girl. Dakota wants to be an only dog. She is timid when she first meets you but comes out of her shell when she gets comfortable with her people.

Puff is handsome guy. Yes, you heard it right, Puff. No, he isn’t a magic dragon, he is a pure, white one-and-a-half-year-old American Bulldog/ terrier mix. He is a big boy and his playful nature reflects his young age. He is a very, strong dog. Puff will need an owner who can handle his strength and is familiar with large breed dogs. Because of his size and strength, Puff would need a home with teenagers or adults only. Will you let this big, goofy love bounce his way into your heart?

Periwinkle, a 4-month-old female bunny, is one of the Munchkins. Periwinkle is doing well with her litter box training, and is very friendly. We believe she would do well in a home with adults as well as gentle children. For more information, please email us at Hitorbunnytrail@gmail.com.

Amber is a two-year-old all-black cat who came to the shelter as a stray from Tompkins Cove after she was found hiding under a trailer. She is described by staff as a feisty girl who would need a home with older children and no other cats. She has been at the shelter since July 2017.

Who doesn’t love Oreos? Oreo is a three-year-old female mostly white and black cat who was surrendered to the shelter in Nov 2017 from Monsey after her owner developed a medical condition and could no longer care for her. Oreo would need to find a home with older children and would need to be the only pet in the house. Both Amber and Oreo are at the Shelter not the Annex.
