Stony Point Judges: If you do Drugs, Get Treatment

NARCAN has been used many times to help save the lives of Rocklanders who overdose on opioids, but some local officials would rather treatment also be a component of the punishment, particularly for repeat offenders. Over in New Jersey earlier this week, Governor Chris Christie announced $35 million in funding for intensive services to those with severe opioid use disorders, and pregnant and postpartum mothers and older adults with opioid painkiller dependencies.
