List of Adoptable Pets 2/23

So ya’ll remember Lucky? You see, over a year ago Hi Tor received a call that there was a pup hit by a car in Spring Valley. A nice man picked up Lucky off the street and called the shelter. Staff rushed to his rescue where the man carried Lucky out of his home to our staff members. Lucky was then brought to Valley Cottage where they observed him over night. He had some minor bumps and bruises but was…well…’Lucky’.

This situation is how he got his name but, the poor guy hasn’t had such luck finding his forever home. Lucky is a snuggly lovable boy. He is young and does need some continued training. He needs someone to show him the ropes of how to be a dog again by showing him boundaries and the love he deserves. If you are an experienced dog owner who is looking for a little Lucky, he’s right here! And he is certainly looking for you!

Hi , I am Bronx a 1 year old brindle terrier male who came to the shelter as a stray. The family that would be awesome for me is one with older kids ( because I have a lot of energy ) . I like other dogs but a meet and greet would be needed to see if we get along. Because I was a stray I am a little shy when you first meet me but once I warm up to you and I become more comfortable my goofy playful side shows. Running around the pen, playing fetch and playing in the snow are favorite activities for me. People think I a very handsome but I just think of myself as a lovable boy. Please come meet me at the shelter, I would love to be part of your family.
Did you say you are active and love to take long walks, hikes and would love to play fetch with me? That is exactly what I am looking for. Hi, I am Lincoln a 2 year old male retriever mix looking for an active family with teens/adults. The volunteers say I am very sweet and connect with people. I went to Petsmart last weekend and made so many friends! I am new to the shelter and I am learning to walk well on a leash. I would prefer to be an only dog in my house and am not very fond of cats. I have a lot of love to give ( and I am super cute, you have to see me in person!) , could you be the family I give it to?
This beautiful girl is a one year old Dutch mix. She is on the small side, at about 3 pounds. Katie has been spayed, and is in foster care. After being kept in a small cage, she became fearful of humans. She is now learning how to trust people. Katie is doing great with her litter box skills.
