Jade is a 2-3 year old female Terrier Mix who was surrendered to the shelter because her owner could no longer care for her. Jade starts out a bit shy at first but then will warm up nicely. She becomes very friendly and affectionate once she gets to feel comfortable. Jade is also housebroken and is working on her leash skills. Jade should be the only pet in the house and would do best in a home with older teens and adults who can give her the quiet home she deserves. She loves getting dressed up by the volunteers and as you can see by her picture, is a beautiful dog. Come meet Jade and make her part of your next family photo!
Scottie is a 7 – year old pit mix who has been at the shelter for over 3 years. Scottie is the most senior resident at the shelter, he was found as a stray in Stony Point in December of 2013. He is a large, predominantly white dog with patches of brindle. A perfect leash walker and he does not get excited when he meets other dogs. He is fun loving and a volunteer favorite. He would be a great addition to an active couple who likes outdoor activities but also loves their down time. He would be happiest with a calm and consistent owner, who is has experience with large breed dogs. Because of his size, he would be happiest in a home with no children. He is social, sweet natured and intelligent. Because of his ability to learn, he responds well to training and knows all his sit, stay, paw commands. Come and meet this majestic looking dog. You will be delighted with him.
