In May Westhcester Medical Center announced their joint venture with the hospital, which has 122 beds, 55 of which are staffed, and recently released plans to turn the inpatient center’s role to more of a “medical village” that will focus on outpatient services to better serve the community by lowering the 55 staffed beds to 30 and the overall number of beds from 122 to 61.
