After Monday’s rainout against the Quebec Capitales the Boulders traveled to New Jersey on Wednesday morning where they faced the Jackals in the first game of a four-game series. Early in the game the Jackals earned three runs, giving them a strong lead, though Rockland pitcher Richard Salazar struck out a record ten batters over seven innings. In the eighth inning the Boulders did their best to catch the lead, but only managed two runs.
