Boulders Recap

After Monday’s rainout against the Quebec Capitales the Boulders traveled to New Jersey on Wednesday morning where they faced the Jackals in the first game of a four-game series. Early in the game the Jackals earned three runs, giving them a strong lead, though Rockland pitcher Richard Salazar struck out a record ten batters over seven innings. In the eighth inning the Boulders did their best to catch the lead, but only managed two runs. The final score was 3-2 with the Jackals winning, both teams play at Provident Bank Park tonight at 7:00. You can listen live at WRCR 1300 AM or online at wrcr.com.
