An explosion at a Connecticut Citgo left a minister for the Central Presbyterian Church in Haverstraw and Nyack Hospital in a medically induced coma while he is recovering from burns sustained during the accident. According to Reverend Warren Brandt, Director of Pastoral Care at Nyack Hospital, 60- year- old David Wentroble was filling his tank when one of the pumps exploded at 6:30 AM on Friday. Wentroble suffered burns on 20 percent of his body and was taken to the burn unit at Bridgeport Hospital, where he will stay for treatment including surgeries, skin grafts, and rehab for at least 4 months. Danbury Police stated that they are working with fire inspectors to detect the cause of the blast.
