Woman Arrested For Stabbing Boyfriend

According to the Ramapo Police Department, officers arrested a 60- year old woman who had allegedy stabbed her boyfriend on Friday. The report states that officers found 57- year old James Woolard lying on the street around 3:00 Saurday morning, wearing a bloody shirt. He told officers that he had been stabbed during a dispute with his girlfriend, Jacqueline Woodfield, who was charged with a felony count of second- degree assault, second- degree menacing and fourth- degree criminal possession of a weapon. Woolard was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern for non-life threatening injuries. According to police Woolard was charged with third- degree assault. Both Woolard and Woodfield are being held by police pending arraignment at Ramapo Town Court.
