The Rockland Boulders lost last night 4-1, in the first game of the four game series against the Wichita Wingnuts. Neither team scored in the first three innings– but in the top of the fourth Wichita took the lead when Jared McDonald was brought home by John Rodriguez. Rockland’s Danny Bomback hit a fly that brought in Matt Nandin, to even out the score 1-1. In the seventh inning the Wingnuts took the win and though they fought, Rockland remained scoreless for the rest of the game. The Boulders face the Wingnuts again this morning at 11:00 at Provident Bank Park.
