FAA Explains Low Flying Jet

For those who remember the private jet that flew low over Route 59 and the New York Thruway last week, the FAA finally called back. The challenger CL60 aircraft, which flew over Ramapo around 8:45 Wednesday July 3, belongs to the federal aviation administration and was partaking in a flight check for obstacles and navigation. The FAA says that the pilots had to remain under altitudes of 1,500 feet to accomplish the test.
