Last night’s school board meeting in East Ramapo ended with the decision to split from the firm, Minerva and D’Agostino of Long Island, for which Attorney Christopher Kirby is employed. The meeting was held to decide what to do after Kirby’s profane outbreak towards a group of East Ramapo parents less than a week ago. The firm stated that they will handle the incident internally. Kirby will no longer be working on anything future related to district. Though much of the East Ramapo District is thrilled with the decision to split, many of the parents are disappointed that it didn’t happen sooner, saying that it should have been done immediately after the incident occurred.
