Boulders Beat Jackals in 4-2 Victory

The Boulders came back strong, defeating the solid New Jersey Jackals.

No one was thrown out this time.  Bobby Blevins pitched a solid seven innings, allowing only two runs and nine hits with four strikeouts.

The Boulders were the first on the board in the second, with Jerod Edmonson scoring on a wild pitch.  Shortstop Steve Nysztor followed up with a single to score in Stephen Cardullo.

In the sixth, bases loaded, it seemed like the Jackals couldn’t stop walking the Boulders, giving the boys two runs.

Rockland defeated Jersey 4-2.  They go on to continue the series this evening at 7.  You can listen to that game here live on WRCR.
